The Sustainable Communities for Climate Action in the Yucatan Peninsula (ACCIÓN) project will seek to increase the climate resilience of vulnerable communities, ecosystems and production systems on the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula through ecosystem-based adaptation and sustainable livelihoods. In 2022, the Green Climate Fund (GCF), through the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), authorized financial assistance for the preparation of the project in 2023.
