Watersheds and Cities, an incubator and project accelerator model to favor the protection and recovery of the basins that supply water to different cities in Mexico, began a new phase in 2022. This consists of Watersheds and Cities V: Spaces for Adaptation to Climate Change, which aims to scale-up the achievements and lessons learned from previous phases, by incorporating climate change vulnerability criteria and ecosystem-based adaptation to help reduce water stress. This new stage has the financial support of the Gonzalo Río Arronte Foundation and is implemented in 10 regions of Mexico.
