During the same period, the Private Coastal Lands Fund supported organizations in charge of private lands and voluntary conservation areas (ADVC, Spanish acronym) with tax payments, such as property tax, and surveillance tours. The measures facilitate the maintenance of strategic sites in Baja California, Baja California Sur, Nayarit and Sinaloa, such as the repair of signage and the monitoring of species, in addition to reducing the risk of land use change in these areas.
